The 6th Edition of the GSCR
On 22 May, it was finally time for the 6th edition of the Geevers Special Car Rally. A day filled with a beautiful route, familiar faces, a great atmosphere, wonderful Classic & Special Cars participants and great food, drinks and music.
This year, 220 passionate customers joined us with 100 beautiful, special and/or original cars and motorbikes.
At 08:45 AM, the first customers arrived in Veldhoven at our Geevers headquarters. After everyone had a piece of cake and a good cup of coffee, and collected their rally shield with all its accessories, the rally could begin. The 'bullet arrow' concept for the route was explained and the starting signal given!
Everyone continued towards Helenaveen where they were surprised with Italian ice cream at the old farm Hoeve Willem III during a ''pit stop''.
After resting for 15 minutes, the route continued towards Best where lunch was ready at Beachclub Sunrise. The rally drivers could enjoy the view of Aquabest beach in the sunshine. After lunch, the rally continued towards Brandevoort where everyone joined a prize draw in the middle of the centre under the market hall, and was provided with a cold drink & a muffin. After completing the final route through the warehouse, the 1st car finished at Geevers around 4 PM. At 5 PM, all cars had finished and the evening event could begin. Everyone was invited to enjoy the various food trucks and some live music. In between, the award ceremony for the best crews as well as a consolation and originality prize took place. Everyone was invited to stay for a drink and enjoy the rest of a beautifully sunny day.
All in all, it was a very successful day. And of course it was great to be able to physically speak to our customers again.
